Why Fitplate
Stop settling for someone else's layout
Off-the-shelf panels make you choose: a generic box that fits nothing in particular, or a vehicle panel with a fixed set of holes someone else picked. Custom fab shops quote by email and cut before you can check the fit.

How it works
From idea to installed in four steps
No CAD, no measuring tape gymnastics, no emailing drawings back and forth.
Pick a starting point
Start from a ready-made layout or a blank panel sized to the spot on your dash, console or overhead.
Drop in your parts
Drag in rockers, gauges, USB and 12V sockets, toggles and buttons. The price updates as you go.
Print and test-fit
Download the free 1:1 template, print it at 100% and hold it in place before anything is cut.
We cut, coat and ship
Your panel is laser-cut from 0.125" aluminum, powder coated and shipped to your door.
Built-in design checks
Catches the mistakes before the laser does
The builder knows the real size of every switch and gauge and the limits of the cutting process, so it warns you while you design, not after the panel arrives.
- Edges and spacingCutouts too close to the edge or to each other, where the metal would be too thin.
- Parts that collideSwitch bezels and gauge rims that would overlap once installed.
- Depth behind the panelSwitches that won't fit the space behind your dash.
- MountingPanels with no screw holes, and sizes that can't be cut or coated.

FAQ
Questions, answered
What exactly do I get?
A laser-cut 5052 aluminum plate, 0.125" thick, with every cutout and mounting hole from your design, powder coated (texture, matte or gloss black). Switches and wiring are not included yet; the cutouts match standard parts, so the switches you already have will fit.
Which switches fit?
Contura-style rocker switches (the off-road standard), 2-1/16" and 2-5/8" gauges, 29 mm USB-A / USB-C / 12V / voltmeter sockets, 1/2" and 1/4" toggles, and 16/19/22 mm metal pushbuttons, plus #8, #10, 1/4", M5 and M6 mounting holes.
How do I know it will fit before I pay?
Every design comes with a free printable 1:1 template. Print it at 100%, cut it out and hold it in place: you see the exact size, switch positions and screw holes on your own dash before anything is cut. The builder also flags cutouts too close to an edge, overlapping parts and missing mounting holes.
My vehicle is not listed. Can I still order?
Yes. Start from a generic panel, enter the size of the space you want to fill, and test-fit the paper template. Owners who confirm a fit help build verified templates for that vehicle.
How long does it take?
Panels are typically cut, coated and shipped within about a week. You get an email with tracking when it ships.
What if it doesn’t fit?
Tell us from your order page. If the panel doesn’t match the design you approved, we remake it. The paper test-fit exists so the design itself is right before you order.
Can I label my switches?
Switch labels are coming. Today most owners use laser-etched rocker covers, which fit our rocker cutouts.
